This past week, the Cali spitta made his rounds at the 2014 SXSW music festival with an agenda to kill every mic in sight. Dropping it off a little early before the release of his debut album, YG lets the masses hear his collaborative track with hip hop star Kendrick Lamar. Produced by Ty Dolla $ign, his track “Really Be (Smokin N Drinkin)” sets off G-funk West Coast vibes while the two rappers drop verses about their rap lifestyle that involves money, drugs, and sometimes real bad consequences.
His debut album My Krazy life is expected to drop on March 18, 2014. The album will also feature contributions from Drake, SchoolBoy Q, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Jeezy, Jay Rock, and more.
